Y’all… I absolutely LOVE photographing proposals! Saying it again for those in the BACK… I LOVE PROPOSALS!!!

I love how much effort is involved and the time and thought process it takes to figure out every detail and then not to mention predict movements throughout the day of another person to make sure all goes to plan! It’s just so much fun to be a part of!!

Charlie’s proposal to Ally was spectacular! We had a day of scouting out the perfect place with one of his friends and his mom. He wanted it to be perfect! He had envisioned a private spot on their property that he loved and had a very special meaning to him. So with a little prayer for some good weather we decided that was the spot!

The day of the proposal called for a 60% chance of rain but we held out knowing how reliable Texas forecasts were and it honestly turned out to be such a perfect day! I hid out behind some tall brush with all my gear and waited for them to arrive- he had told her they were coming out there to hunt and she was all in.

They pulled up and he took her to the front of the beautiful outdoor chapel- appropriately named Charlie’s Chapel. He had planned out for a blanket to be down on the ground for them to stand on and his mom had laid out his bible and a bouquet of paperwhites from her garden on one of the pews. He spoke to her from his heart and pulled out the ring!
