Adam + Victoria | The Laurel - Grapevine, Texas
Adam & Victoria’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration, made even more stunning by the soft glow of the late afternoon sun at The Laurel. As the golden light filtered through the trees, it was clear this day was filled with love, laughter, and the legacy of dear friendships.
It’s been a true honor to be there for Adam over the years, capturing his journey through life’s milestones—from senior portraits to police academy graduation, sweet family sessions, and, of course, the beautiful moment he proposed to Victoria. Watching his story unfold has been a privilege, and being a part of his and Victoria’s wedding day meant everything to me.
Adam’s dad, a firefighter and dear friend of The Cowboy (my husband) passed away in early 2020, but his spirit was undoubtedly present. The legacy of our fire family runs deep, and even though Adam chose to serve as a police officer (we love him anyway, haha!), he will always be one of our own. Taking care of my fire family is one of my greatest joys, and sharing in this celebration was nothing short of special.
Adam & Victoria’s wedding was full of the vibrant, wild, and colorful energy they envisioned. Victoria was most excited about saying, “I do,” while Adam looked forward to their getaway car. God even blessed them with unexpected free Chick-fil-A, which was just one of many surprises. When the sound system had a hiccup, they rolled with a backup plan, proving that sometimes the best moments come from spontaneity.
Their color palette was inspired by their Texas A&M roots, with maroon as the main hue. As true Aggie grads, they incorporated meaningful traditions like playing the Aggie War Hymn and ending the night with “Good Night Irene” by Ernest Tubb, a nod to the Dixie Chicken in College Station.
They shared sweet first looks with their parents—Victoria with her dad and Adam with his mom—moments filled with love and a few tears. Victoria even walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and their first dance to “With You I Am” by Cody Johnson was full of joy and romance. Their cakes were unforgettable, with an Aggie Ring cake in a maple bacon flavor they discovered as a delightful surprise during tasting. And let’s not forget Victoria’s choice of white cowgirl boots, perfect for comfort and dancing the night away!
At the end of the day, they felt relieved and happy to finally be together, stress-free, looking forward to a future full of holidays and quiet, quality time. Working with them was an absolute dream. Victoria and Adam, thank you for making Blackall Photography a part of your story and for keeping the laughs coming—even when it meant filling out one more questionnaire! Wishing you both endless adventure, deep love, and a lifetime of blessings. ❤️
