My all-time favorite season for weddings is Fall - The season is changing and we’re just now starting to get those wonderful cool Fall temps here in North Texas! The beautiful bold colors at Lucky Spur Ranch are just starting to change into those stunning warm gold hues that photograph so well!

Ashley & Mike said I do to one another in front of their friends and family at Lucky Spur Ranch on October 15th and it was in fact a perfect day! The bride said it best when she said I can’t think of one thing that went wrong!! Love it when everything comes together as it should!

Of course to ensure all things go as planned… and if they don’t, you don’t know it didn’t- you need a wedding coordinator! #TrueStory. I can not say enough wonderful things about the Team at Pink Glitter Events! Venetta and her awesome staff execute a wedding day effortlessly. As a former planner myself I can tell you it takes considerable effort to make all the spinning parts flow as one throughout the day and Venetta does it with charm, grace, and a beautiful smile all day long!

You can’t be a Southern bride without beautifully arranged florals and Flory’s Flowers bought it to life. They put together all the beautiful hues that not only complimented Ashley’s look for the day but all the colors of the venue, inside & out. It was perfection. The custom tooled leather encompassing the wedding day bouquet was the coolest touch! The table florals were exquisite - sitting atop the perfect shade of white linens provided by the sometimes overlooked but always appreciated AM Linen rental.

To complete Ashley’s Southern bride wedding day look you absolutely need the right hair and make-up!! Krista Ann of Makeup by Krista Ann and Myrla from Hair By Marla 100% knocked it out of the park- which to be honest we all knew they would because everyone knows these two are authorities in their respective fields!!

And to tie it all in a pretty bow… Ashley’s wedding gown was purchased here in Old Town Lewisville by the always popular Bridal Boutique! I love when our brides #ShopLocal!

And what’s a Southern bride without her cowboy? I love the suits provided by Men’s Wearhouse that Mike and his groomsmen went with! Add in a cowboy hat and a bow tie and you’ve hit the nail on the head!

After the sweet ceremony officiated by the groom’s aunt, everyone was treated to the most delicious appetizers and meal provided by Lucky Spur Ranch’s in-house catering company - Lonesome Spur Catering. I say this as truth y’all… you will not get a better meal at a wedding venue ever. LSC knows how to get it done and every bite will bring you happiness! Dessert from Bluebonnet Bakery was so good plus they had some fun flavored popcorn by Pop N’ Cream.

The evening’s entertainment was by True DJs of Dallas and he did such a great job.. keeping that dance floor full the whole time is no easy task but he made it happen and I have the images to prove it!
