Nick + Hailey | Hawthorn Hills Ranch Krum Texas
The Kohns were finally able to celebrate their marriage on a beautiful day in May y’all! After a two-year delay (thanks to a well known pandemic), these cuties gathered with loved ones at beautiful Hawthorn Hills Ranch. Just wait until you see some of the sunset-kiss sweetness coming your way below!
Hailey and Nick were most excited about seeing their family and friends after so much time apart in recent years (and I can tell by the way everyone celebrated, all y’all in attendance were in agreement). The dancing was a highlight for many, and the glow sticks and glow glasses were just a bonus on top to bring out the crazy fun in all!
As all new families go, a little competitiveness “may” have come out to the tune of the couples’ respective college fight songs (I’ll leave it up to the reader to decide if OU or A&M was the winner of the evening). I personally loved the soft violet tones of the spring florals (designed by a local Old Town Lewisville favorite, Flourish Flowers and Events) and bridesmaids’ dresses against the simple-rustic backdrop of the ranch.
And though I’m primarily there to capture the magic of the love between the couple and their family and friends, you’ll see why I snapped a lot of pictures of the details of this gorgeous event. I’m not hankering for those stacked donuts and charcuterie table goodies, YOU are!
These two may have had an unusual start to their marriage, but there’s no doubt these sweethearts are meant to be with their big hearts and big smiles. Nick and Hailey, you were troopers who found a way to wed (and a way to celebrate BIG) despite some “challenges” along the way. Hats off to you and here’s to many more years together surrounded by that big ol’ rowdy family you can claim as your own!
