Marlie + Jordan | Lucky Spur Ranch Justin Texas
It was a magical summer day at Lucky Spur Ranch when Marlie and Jordan tied the knot! From the bride’s classic fairy-tale dress and veil, to the groom’s 3-piece tux and bow-tie, these two set the mood for an evening of romance and celebration amongst friends and family.
And what a group of friends and family there were! The bride had seven beautiful gals in various shades of blue stand by her side for her nuptials (plus an adorable flower girl), and the groom had seven dapper gentlemen keep him company at the alter as well! What many guests didn’t get to see (but I captured on camera) was the groom had a “first look” with the bridesmaids and the bride had a “first look” with the groomsmen. So fun!
One of my favorite details of the day was Marlie’s classic bouquet of her favorite flowers: pink peonies. But when I found out the story behind it, it made it so much more special…try not to cry y’all! Wrapped around the stems were items from her two grandmas watching from above: a veil, from her maternal grandmother, and a ribbon and locket tied around it, the final gift from her paternal grandmother.
And the bride and groom didn’t stop there in honoring their beloved grandparents. A window displayed the seven grandparents who have passed on with a sweet sentiment written around the photos: “we knew you would be here today if heaven weren’t so far away.”
For the family and friends in attendance, the dance floor was a big hit. From the first dances to the money dance to the garter toss, the guests thoroughly enjoyed this celebration of love! I was able to snap a large number of them in a group photo…can’t keep a good party down!
To Marlie and Jordan: it’s clear the love you share. I love that what Jordan is most excited about being married is “growing old together” and that Marlie looks forward to “being there for each other through the trials and happiness that daily life brings.” This is clearly a solid foundation for these love birds to fly from! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Melville!
