On a personal note, I have known this gorgeous bride Rae & her beautiful family for A LONG TIME!! I have had the privilege of watching her grow into an amazing Godly woman. Photographing her senior portraits, her engagements, her bridals, and now her wedding…This journey has made me feel incredibly blessed to witness and capture so many significant moments in her life.
Last Thursday, Rae and Dewain celebrated their beautiful wedding at Bella Cavalli Events, surrounded by loved ones. This special day was filled with heartfelt moments and a serene ambiance. The rain stopped and the sun peeked out just in time for them to exchange their vows in a stunning outdoor ceremony. The night was enchantingly magical as if nature itself had conspired to create the perfect moment for their love.
For Dewain, the most anticipated moment was seeing Rae for the first time. The look in his eyes said it all. Her smile radiated happiness. Rae, on the other hand, eagerly awaited their first look and seeing all their meticulous planning come to life. Their day was a testament to their love and dedication, beautifully orchestrated with so many delicate touches that were all made possible by Rae’s amazing friend and day of coordinator Julie Adkins!! Julie & her team did a phenomenal job of bringing the couple’s vision to life AND keeping everyone on track throughout the day!!
A particularly touching moment was when both sets of parents approached the altar to pray over Rae and Dewain. This gesture added a profound layer of intimacy and blessing to the ceremony, enveloping the couple in love and support.
Rae and Dewain's advice to future couples planning their weddings is worth noting. Dewain suggests, "Just relax and everything will go according to plan, and if it doesn’t, so what." This laid-back approach ensures that the day remains stress-free. Rae emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, advising to, "just breathe, take every moment in, have fun, and try to make the day slow down as much as possible."
The wedding décor echoed their vision of simplicity and elegance. Rae's love for flowers was evident yet understated. A Time to Shine Floral Design created stunning arrangements using baby’s breath and greenery, perfectly complementing the venue’s charm. Bella Cavalli Events provided a breathtaking backdrop with its picturesque landscapes and elegant facilities, making it an ideal location for their special day.
Their first dance was to "Wondering Why" by The Red Clay Strays, a song that resonated deeply with them. As they swayed to the music, it was clear that their journey together was just beginning, filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments.
We (Blackall Photography) loved being there with them to capture every magical moment, ensuring Rae and Dewain have beautiful memories to look back on. The evening's energy was kept high by Paradise Pro DJs, who curated a perfect playlist for celebrating. Krista Ann Artistry and Esthetics made sure Rae and her bridesmaids looked radiant with flawless makeup, and Looks by Gracerao styled her hair to perfection. Rae's stunning bridal gown from Bridal Boutique Lewisville was a highlight, as were the elegant bridesmaids' dresses from Azazie, adding a cohesive and beautiful touch to the wedding party.
And what’s a great party without a fantastic dinner? It was an absolute treat, to say the least, thanks to our friends at Get Righteous BBQ, serving up a delicious dinner that everyone enjoyed.
